Vienna Honors Community Volunteers
Vienna — More than 30 Town of Vienna individuals and organizations will be honored for giving their time and services to the needs of others at the Mayor’s Volunteer Reception at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department. Each year, the Town requisitions citizens for nominations of all-star community volunteers. The good deeds for which volunteers will be recognized include giving someone a ride, tutoring students, providing daycare, and fundraising, among other community-building activities. The reception is free and open to the public. Last year, the staff at Georgen Scarborough Associates, shown here, were recognized for their volunteer efforts.
