The oldest four kids agree that 10-year-old Emma handles most of the pet care, but all of the kids like having pets. 4-year-old Olivia likes to read to labradoodle Bella and notes that Bella likes books about dogs best. The kids all think that Bella looks most like 8-year-old Ava, because “they both have big eyes.” Four-year-old Charlotte is proud that she named the family hamster. How did she come up with “Whisper?” When they first got her, “she was scared and we had to be very quiet,” says Charlotte.
